Nothing to do with Scunthorpe or racing, but apparently it was snowing in Stafford today, but that report came from a woman, so it was probably hail!

I lived on the west coast of scotland where we had 4" of snow - in JUNE!!!!

it was snowing in Wolverhampton at 8am (we didn't get any here, being too far away and too low down)

Any idea what time festivities will likely finish on Sunday?

Netweather is now showing rain for Sunday, with a friendly orange torrential around 1 o'clock. But the metoffice seem to disagree, hooray! Only 20% chance of rain. Oh the black art that is weather forecasting.

We need to be getting off the site by about 4, so finish racing about 3.30 (I PM'd this to Martin a couple of days ago)

After some careful consideration I'm thinking
1Km TT
followed by the usual slow / fast 40 minutes plus 1 or 2 laps
Timing wise that should see us done by just after 3pm
I am still open to suggestions (bribes) but a standing hill start straight up the banking might cause much laughter. Wink

All good with me - As always whoever steps up to organise gets to choose the race format...

I did also consider (in a moment of madness) a handicapped start, calculated from the TT times.
Have we ever done that?
