I'll bring a spare (charged) battery.

As a superior 3 wheel rider i find two wheeled wobblying and weeving around bends and swerving cos of a puff of wind kind of funny!!! Wink

But for Shrewsbury, here is an idea of how i hope to race.  fast down the hill, go to outside of track and brake hard for the hairpin, crawl around the hairpin on the outside (hopefully on three wheels) then crawl up the hill, inside line for the top bend then fast again!  Of course if we are doing a long race the fast bits will become slow and the crawl up the hill be a slow one!

Shame on you Ian: planning for a race is almost as great a sin as training in the BHPC. But if you insist, don't forget to factor in the predicted 20mph tailwind down the hill into the hairpin to add to the fun (and, of course, the 20mph headwind coming out of it).

Which will mean a 20MPH crosswind in the middle of the hairpin of course.

Have we got plenty of bandages in the first aid kit?
Big smile

Ironically the tag-controller battery appears to be fully charged so I don't even need the charger I've got.

All the tags woke up as they should, had a nice little play together, and are all now tuckled up again for the night. No 31 is bit of a snorer. I hope he doesn't disturb the others or they'll be grumpy as anything by Sunday.

Ah the forewarning was for faster two wheeled wobblers like yourself so you know my intentions, so if you plough into me like you did Mike B it will be your fault not mine! Evil Smile  I probably wouldn't notice being bumped as i will be in something resembling a beached whale (Cycle vision write up)!!

Wind - Pah, no worries! gradients (up) is what i fear!

Throughly enjoyable race today, 90 minutes with the amount of riders worked without any real hitches as far as I could see, apologies to anybody I may have got a little close to in the bottom hairpin!

I think a 90 minute with a full racetrack is a definite one to consider if we end up with another smaller turnout at Shrewsbury in future.

Thanks to everyone who organised, as well as gNick for enormously quick result posting, even with several issues to iron out.
